The head of the Polish National Sports Centre - the man responsible for overseeing the successful construction of the new purpose-built Warsaw stadium - has been sacked.
The dismissal of Rafal Kapler comes just days after the Polish Super Cup final had to be cancelled because the new Euro 2012 Warsaw stadium was not deemed safe enough to host the football final.
It is believed that Poland's Sports Minister, Joanna Mucha, has accepted Mr Kapler's resignation.
