You have got to feel sorry for the North Koreans...and question FIFA's jobworths.
The North Koreans decided to gamble on using just two keepers for the tournament and using the extra slot in their squad to include an additional striker.
Problem is, this breaks FIFA rules. Apparently, striker Kim Myong-Won must now spend his World Cup as his country's third striker.
Come on FIFA! Unless the naive North Koreans were purposely trying to cheat, you can forgive them for their mistake and allow them to add a third keeper.
If you don't, you will have half the football fans in the world wishing for the two North Korean first choice keepers to get injured and Myong-Won to be forced on as substitute, before making a series of outstanding saves that deny Portugal a place in the second round.
