'The 32'

Picture
We want every player at this year's FIFA World Cup to sign their national team's shirt...and for that jersey to appear on 'The Shirt 2010'.
We will keep you updated with news about which World Cup teams have donated a shirt...and when it happened.

1. South Africa - 2009

Picture
Bafana Bafana donated a signed shirt to this project way back in 2009

2. Serbia

Picture
Serbia became the first team, other than the hosts, to contact us and confirm that they will donate a signed shirt from their World Cup squad.

3. Netherlands

Picture
The Netherlands, a country with a brilliant record of supporting the work of the UNHCR, confirmed on May 31 that they will be joining 'The Shirt 2010'

4. Germany

Picture
Not to be outdone by their rivals, Holland, the German Football Federation got in contact on June 1 to let us know that a signed shirt will be awaiting us at their HQ from June 7

5.???

It has all gone very quiet with the World Cup press officers. Only Chile have been in contact, and that was to tell us 'maybe'. Let's hope once the teams are settled they will begin replying to our emails and text messages.

June 7 - England and Australia have both told us they will not be joining 'the shirt 2010'

If your national federation would like to donate a signed shirt then please contact me in South Africa and I will be very happy to pick it up:
